Tracking every case of COVID-19 in Canada

Note:  As of July 17, Quebec introduced a new system to identify people who have recovered from COVID-19.  Read details here.

Dec. 10 – The province added 1,842 new cases, 1,218 recoveries and 33 deaths. Seven of those deaths occurred within the past 24 hours. A previously announced death as also removed from Quebec’s total.

Dec. 9 – The province added 1,728 new cases, 1,119 recoveries and 36 deaths. Seven of those deaths occurred in the past 24 hours. One previously announced death was removed from the provincial total after it was determined the death was not related to COVID-19.

Dec. 8 – The province reported 1,564 new COVID-19 cases and 36 deaths. Of the deaths, 12 ocurred in the last 24 hours, 22 between Dec. 1 and Dec 6 and two occurred sometime before Dec. 1.

Dec. 7 – The province added 1,577 new cases and 22 deaths. Of the deaths, three occurred in the last 24 hours, 18 between Nov. 30 and Dec. 5 and one occurred sometime before Nov. 30. 

Dec. 6 – There were 1,691 new cases of COVID-19 reported, pushing the province’s total past 150,000, as well as 24 deaths.

Dec. 5 – Health officials announced 2,031 new cases, 1,279 recoveries and 48 deaths. Of those deaths, 11 occurred in the past 25 hours.

Dec. 4 – The province added 1,345 new cases, 28 deaths and 1,370 recoveries. Of those deaths, only five occurred in the last 24 hours.

Dec. 3 – The province added 1,470 new cases, 982 recoveries and 30 deaths. Of those, only 12 occurred in the past 24 hours.

Dec. 2 – The province reported 1,514 new cases and 43 deaths. Of the deaths, nine occurred in the last 24 hours, 29 between Nov. 25 and Nov. 30 and five occurred sometime before Nov. 25. Two deaths were removed from the total after being deemed not COVID-related. 

Dec. 1 – The province added 1,177 new cases and 28 new deaths. Of the deaths, three occurred in the last 24 hours, 22 between Nov. 24 and Nov. 29, one before Nov. 2 and two occurred at an unknown date. 

Nov. 30 – The province added 1,333 new cases and 23 new deaths. Of the deaths, eight occurred in the last 24 hours, 14 occurred between Nov. 23 and Nov. 28 and one occurred at an unknown date. 

Nov, 29- The province reported 1,395 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total above 140,000.

Nov. 28 – The province added 1,480 new cases, 37 deaths and 1,179 recoveries. Of those deaths, 10 occurred in the last 24 hours

Nov. 27 – The province added 1,296 new cases, 37 deaths and 1,236 recoveries. Nine of those deaths occurred in the past 24 hours.

Nov. 26 – The province added 1,464 new cases, 32 deaths and 940 recoveries. Only eight of those deaths occurred within the last 24 hours.

Nov. 25 – Health officials reported 1,100 new COVID-19 cases and 28 deaths. Among the deaths, 12 occurred in the last 24 hours, 14 between Nov. 18 and Nov. 23 and two occurred on an unknown date. 

Nov. 24 – The province reported 1,124 new COVID-19 cases and 45 deaths. Among the deaths, nine occurred in the last 24 hours, 34 between Nov. 16 and Nov. 21 and two occurred before Nov. 17.

Nov. 23 – The province reported 1,164 new cases of COVID-19 and 13 new deaths. Among the deaths, three occurred in the last 24 hours and 10 occurred between Nov. 16 and Nov. 21. 

Nov. 22 – The province added 1,154 new cases, 1,351 recoveries and 23 deaths. Of those deaths, 11 occurred between Nov. 15-20 and one happened on an unknown date.

Nov. 21 – Health officials added 1,189 new cases, 1,408 recoveries and 32 deaths. Twenty-one of those deaths happened between Nov. 14-19, four occurred before then and two happened on unknown dates.

Nov. 20 – The province added 1,259 new cases, 1,526 recoveries and 32 deaths. Twenty-two of the deaths happened between Nov. 13-18, while one occurred on an unknown date. Two previously announced deaths were removed after it was determined that they were not related to COVID-19.

Nov. 19 – The province added 1,207 new cases, 1,175 recoveries and 34 deaths. Of those deaths, 19 occurred between Nov. 12-17, five happened before then and three occurred on an unknown date.

Nov. 18 – The province reported 1,179 new COVID-19 cases and 35 new deaths. Among the deaths, eight occurred in the last 24 hours, 19 between Nov. 11 and Nov. 16, six occurred before Nov. 11 and two occurred at an unknown date. 

Nov. 17 – The province added 982 new cases of COVID-19 and 24 new deaths. Among the deaths, five occurred in the last 24 hours, 18 between Nov. 10 and Nov. 15 and one occurred before Nov. 10. 

Nov. 16 – The province added 1,218 new cases of COVID-19 and 25 new deaths. Among the deaths, six occurred in the last 24 hours and 19 occurred between Nov. 9 and Nov. 14. 

Nov. 15 — There were 1,211 new cases of COVID-19 and 15 associated deaths reported on Sunday.

Nov. 14 – Quebec reported 1,448 new cases and 25 additional deaths.

Nov. 13 – The province added 1,301 new COVID-19 cases and 30 new deaths. Nine deaths occurred in the last 24 hours, 16 between Nov. 6 and Nov. 11, one death occurred before Nov. 6 and four deaths occurred at an unknown date. 

Nov. 12 – The province added 1,365 new COVID-19 cases and 42 deaths. Nine deaths occurred in the last 24 hours, 27 between Nov. 5 and Nov. 10, two occurred before Nov. 5 and four deaths occurred at an unknown date. 

Nov. 11 – The province added 1,378 new COVID-19 cases and 22 deaths. Six deaths occurred in the last 24 hours and 16 occurred between Nov. 4 and Nov. 9. 

Nov. 10 – The province reported an increase of 1,162 new COVID-19 cases and 38 new deaths. Nine deaths occurred in the last 24 hours, 27 between Nov. 3 and Nov. 8, one before Nov. 3 and one other death occurred at an unknown date. 

Nov. 9 – Health officials announced 1,169 new COVID-19 cases as well as 15 new deaths. Five deaths occurred in the last 24 hours, nine between Nov. 2 and Nov. 7 and one death occurred at a unknown date. 

Nov. 8 – Health officials announced 1,397 new cases, 958 recoveries and nine deaths. Seven of those deaths occurred between Nov. 1-6. The province said 68 missing cases will be added to tomorrow’s tally. These have not been added to our totals for Sunday.

Nov. 7– Health officials added 1,234 new cases, 875 recoveries and 28 deaths. Of those deaths, 13 occurred between Oct. 31-Nov. 5, while five happened before then. One previously announced death was removed after it was determined to not be connected to COVID-19.

Nov. 6 – The province added 1,133 new cases, 1,072 recoveries and 25 deaths. Fifteen deaths happened between Oct. 30-Nov.4, three occurred before then and two happened on an unknown date.

Nov. 5 – The province added 1,138 new cases and 28 new deaths linked to COVID-19.

Nov. 4 – The province announced 1,029 new cases, 785 recoveries and 33 deaths. Of those deaths, 16 occurred between Oct. 28-Nov.2, seven occurred before Oct. 28 and two happened on an unknown date.

Nov. 3 – The province reported 871 new cases of COVID-19, as well as 34 deaths.

Nov. 2 – Quebec saw an increase of 1,037 cases of COVID-19. Twelve new deaths were reported and one death was removed after being deemed not COVID related. 

Nov. 1 – Health officials announced 965 new cases, 912 recoveries and 26 deaths. Fifteen deaths happened between Oct. 25-30, two occurred before Oct. 25 and three happened on an unknown date.

Oct. 31 – Health officials announced 1,064 new cases, 984 recoveries and 15 deaths. Of those deaths, seven occurred between Oct. 24-27 and two happened on an unknown date.

Oct. 30 – Quebec reported another 1,108 cases of COVID-19, which includes 156 cases from the summer that are being added as an adjustment.

Oct. 29 – The province added 1,030 new cases, 25 deaths and 804 recoveries. Of the deaths, 14 happened between Oct. 22-27, one before Oct. 22 and two on an unknown dates.

Oct. 28 – Health officials announced 929 COVID-19 cases and 17 new deaths. Four deaths occurred within the last 24 hours and 13 occurred between Oct. 21 and Oct. 26. 

Oct. 27 – Health officials announced 963 new COVID-19 cases and 19 additional deaths. Four deaths occurred in the last 24 hours, 14 between Oct. 20 and Oct. 25 and one occurred at an unknown date.

Oct. 26 – Health officials announced 808 new COVID-19 cases as well as 10 new deaths. Two death occurred within the past 24 hours, six between Oct.19 and Oct. 24 and two occurred at an unknown date. 

Oct. 25 – The province announced 879 new cases, 11 deaths and 1,009 recoveries. Quebec surpassed 100,000 total cases on Sunday. Five of the deaths happened between Oct. 18-23, while one happened on an unknown date.

Oct. 24 – Quebec reported 1,009 new cases, 26 deaths, and 1,027 recoveries. Five of the deaths occurred in the past 24 hours, in addition to one on an unknown date. Seventeen people died between Oct. 17 and 22, and three people died before Oct. 17.

Oct. 23 – The province announced 905 new cases, 12 deaths and 759 recoveries. Six of the deaths occurred between Oct. 16- 21, while two happened on an unknown date.

Oct. 22 – The province announced 1,033 new cases, 20 deaths and 766 recoveries. Twelve of the deaths happened between Oct. 15-20.

Oct. 21 – Health officials announced 1,072 new cases of COVID-19 and 19 new deaths. Two deaths have occurred within the last 24 hours, 15 occurred between Oct. 14 and Oct. 19 and two occurred before Oct. 14.

Oct. 20 – Health officials reported 877 new COVID-19 cases. Twelve new deaths were added; five occurred in the past 24 hours and seven from an unknown earlier date. The province removed 90 previously announced cases that have been deemed false positives. One death was also removed after being deemed not COVID-19 related.

Oct. 19 – Health officials announced 1,038 new COVID-19 cases on Monday. Six new deaths were reported; two from the last 24 hours, one which occurred between Oct. 12 and Oct. 17 and three occurred at an unknown date. 

Oct. 18 — There were 1,094 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Quebec, along with 957 recoveries and six deaths. Three of the deaths occurred between Oct. 11 and Oct. 16, one of them before Oct. 11, and two on unknown dates.

Oct. 17– Health officials announced 1,279 new cases, 1,090 recoveries and 14 deaths. Eight of those deaths happened between Oct. 10 and Oct. 15, while one death happened on an unknown date. A previously announced death was also removed from the total.

Oct. 16 – Health officials announced 1,055 new cases, 13 deaths and 1,045 recoveries. Eleven deaths occurred between Oct. 9-14 and one before Oct. 9. A previously announced death was removed from the total.

Oct. 15 – The province announced 969 new cases, 28 deaths and 984 recoveries. Twenty of the deaths happened between Oct. 8-13 and two previously announced deaths were removed from the total tally after it was deemed that they didn’t die from COVID-19.

Oct. 14 – The province added 844 new cases, seven deaths and 749 recoveries. Four deaths happened between Oct. 7-12, and one happened on an unknown date. The province retroactively added 359 cases between Oct. 11-13.

Oct. 13 – Health officials announced 815 new cases of COVID-19. Five deaths were also added, three of which occurred within the last 24 hours and two between Oct. 6 and Oct. 11. 

Oct. 12 – The province reported 843 new COVID-19 cases as well as 12 additional deaths. Four deaths occurred within the last 24 hours and eight occurred between Oct. 5 and Oct. 10

Oct. 11 – The province announced 942 new cases, three deaths and 1,143 recoveries. Two deaths happened between Oct. 4-9 and one happened on an unknown date.

Oct. 10 – Quebec added 1,097 new cases, 1,110 recoveries and 14 deaths. Only three of the deaths happened in past 24 hours.

Oct. 9 – The number of COVID-19 cases spiked again in Quebec with public health authorities announcing Friday that 1,102 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Oct. 8 – The province reported 1,078 new cases of COVID-19, and nine more deaths.

Oct. 7 – Health officials announced an increase of 900 COVID-19 cases. Seven new deaths were added; one occurred within the last 24 hours, four occurred between Sept. 30 and Oct 5 and two occurred at an unknown date.

Oct. 6 – Health officials announced 1,364 new cases of COVID-19. The province added 17 new deaths; 3 of which occurred in the last 24 hours, 9 between Sept. 29 and Oct. 4, 1 occurred before Sept. 29 and four occurred at an unknown date. Two deaths have been removed after being deemed not COVID-related.

Oct. 5 – Health officials announced a significant rise in cases with 1,191 new COVID-19 cases added on Monday. Six additional deaths were added; two from the last 24 hours, three which occured between Sept. 28 and Oct. 3 and one additional death which occured at an unknown date.

Oct. 4 – For a third straight day, Quebec has recorded more than 1,079 new cases. The province also reported 12 deaths – nine deaths happened between Sept. 27- Oct. 1 – and 826 recoveries. One previously announced death was removed.

Oct. 3 – Health officials announced 1,107 new cases, 10 deaths, and 795 recoveries.

Oct. 2 – Health officials announced 1,052 new cases of COVID-19 in the province. Seven deaths – six of which happened between Sept. 25-30 and one before Sept. 25 – and 539 recoveries.

Oct. 1 – The province announced 933 new cases, 16 deaths and 580 recoveries.

Sept. 30 – The province reported 838 new cases of COVID-19 as well as one new death which occurred between Sept. 23 and Sept. 28.

Sept. 29 – The province added 799 new cases of COVID-19. Seven additional deaths were also reported, two of which occured within the last 24 hours and five of them occured between Sept. 22 and Sept. 27. 

Sept. 28 – Health officials announced 750 new COVID-19 cases were added to the province total. One new death was also reported that occurred at an unknown date. 

Sept. 27 — Authorities announced 896 new cases of COVID-19, as well as four deaths from various days over the past week.

Sept. 26 – Health officials announced 698 new cases, 404 recoveries and seven deaths. The deaths occurred between Sept. 9-24.

Sept. 25 – The province announced 637 new cases, 313 recoveries and four deaths.

Sept. 24 – Quebec public health authorities reported 582 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday

Sept. 23 – Health officials announced 471 new cases of COVID-19 as well as four new deaths.

Sept. 22 – The province added 489 new cases of COVID-19, as well as one new death that occurred between Sept. 15 and Sept. 20. 

Sept. 21 – The province added 586 new COVID-19 cases and three new deaths which occurred between Sept. 14 and Sept. 19. An additional death has been removed after being determined to be not COVID-related. 

Sept. 20 – Health officials announced 462 new cases, five deaths and 306 recoveries.

Sept. 19 – The province announced 427 new cases, five deaths and 272 recoveries. Three deaths occurred before Sept. 17.

Sept. 18 – Authorities announced Friday that 297 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the province since Thursday.

Sept. 17 – The province announced 499 new cases, three deaths and 208 recoveries. Of the new cases, 248 cases were recorded between Sept. 10-14. Four cases were not given a specific date.

Sept. 16 – Health officials announced 303 new cases of COVID-19. One new death occurred in the last 24 hours and two additional deaths were added that occured between Sept. 9 and Sept. 14.

Sept. 15 – The province added 292 new cases of COVID-19. One new death was added that occurred in the last 24 hours and four other deaths were added that occurred between Sept. 8 and Sept. 13. 

Sept. 14 – The province reported 276 new COVID-19 cases and 160 additional recoveries.

Sept. 13 — There were 279 cases of COVID-19 reported in Quebec on Sunday, the highest one-day total since June 1. The province also reported one new death, while removing a previously reported death from the total count.

Sept. 12 — Public health reported 244 new cases of COVID-19 and six deaths on Saturday, the highest daily toll since the beginning of June.

Sept. 11 – The province reported 219 new cases of COVID-19 and three more deaths. 

Sept. 10 – The province announced 188 new cases, two deaths and 224 recoveries.

Sept. 9 – The province added 180 new COVID-19 cases. Three new deaths were added which occurred between Sept. 2 and Sept. 7, and another one that occurred before Sept. 2. Two deaths were withdrawn after being revealed not to be COVID-related. 

Sept. 8 – Health officials reported 163 new cases of COVID-19 and 202 additional recoveries.

Sept. 7 – The province reported 216 new cases of COVID-19 and one additional death that occured sometime before Aug. 30. 

Sept. 6 – The province announced 205 new cases and 61 recoveries.

Sept. 5 – The province announced 175 new cases, two deaths and 86 recoveries.

Sept. 4 – Health officials announced 184 new COVID-19 cases and 109 new recoveries. One death was added, while a previously announced death was removed.

Sept. 3 – Quebec health authorities reported 187 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday

Sept. 2 – The province reported 132 new COVID-19 cases. No new deaths were added from the last 24 hours but two deaths were reported which occurred between Aug. 26 and Aug. 31 and another one which occurred before Aug. 26. 

Sept. 1 – The province added 122 new cases of COVID-19 and two new deaths.

Aug. 31 – The province reported 140 new COVID-19 cases and 53 new recoveries. One new death from the past 24 hours was also reported in addition to another death that occurred between Aug. 24 and Aug. 29.

Aug. 30 – Quebec reported 120 new cases of COVID-19 and three additional deaths that occurred between Aug. 23 and Aug.28. The province also added 65 new recoveries.

Aug. 29 – Health officials announced 156 new cases, five deaths and 129 recoveries. Two of the deaths happened before Aug. 22, while three others occurred on an unknown date. Quebec also removed 48 cases after an investigation found that they were actually negative.

Aug. 28 – The province announced 98 cases, one death and 98 recoveries. The death happened before Aug. 21. Health officials also removed a previously announced death after determining it wasn’t related to COVID-19. Quebec also says 78 cases, not 40, will be removed gradually after an investigation found that they were actually negative. Thirty of those cases were removed today.

Aug. 27 – Health officials announced 111 new cases, three deaths and 86 recoveries.

Aug. 26 – – The province announced 142 new cases, 115 recoveries and one death. Health officials say 40 cases from the Montreal area could be adjusted down the line due to the sample being contaminated in the lab.

Aug. 25 – Health officials announced 62 new cases of COVID-19. Three new deaths were also announced, in addition to one death that was removed after it was found to be not COVID-related.

Aug. 24 – Health officials announced 68 additional cases of COVID-19, as well as four new deaths.

Aug. 23 – Health officials reported 74 new COVID-19 cases, as well as 106 additional recoveries.

Aug. 22  – The province announced 104 new cases, six deaths and 104 recoveries. Four of the deaths happened before Aug. 20.

Aug. 21 – Public health announced 93 new cases, 89 recoveries and three deaths.Two of the deaths happpened between Aug. 14-20.

Aug. 20 – Health officials announced 86 new cases, 145 recoveries and one death.

Aug. 19 – The province recorded 64 new COVID-19 cases as well as two new deaths.

Aug. 18 – The province reported 46 new cases of COVID-19 and six new deaths.

Aug. 17 – The province added 55 new cases of COVID-19, one additional death and 83 new recoveries.

Aug. 16 – Health officials announced 67 new cases, 138 recoveries and one death.

Aug. 15 – The province added 80 new COVID-19 cases.

Aug. 14 – Health officials announced 87 new cases, 157 recoveries and three deaths.

Aug. 13 – Health officials announced 104 new cases, 171 recoveries and six deaths.

Aug. 12 – The province reported 95 new COVID-19 cases, 12 additional deaths and 135 new recoveries. 

Aug. 11 – Health officials announced 91 new cases of COVID-19, one death and 94 new recoveries. This is the second day in a row that new cases have been under 100.

Aug. 10 – Quebec recorded 156 new cases of COVID-19 and one new death. After several days without a recovery update, the province is reporting 2,155 new recoveries. 

Aug. 9 – The province announced 104 new cases and three deaths. One of the deaths occurred before Aug. 1.

Aug. 8 – Health officials announced 126 new cases and five deaths. One of those deaths took place before July 31.

Aug. 7 – The province announced 108 new cases on Friday. No new recoveries have been announced in several days because of a technical error, according to Quebec.

Aug. 6 – The province announced 133 new cases on Thursday. No new deaths were reported. Quebec continues to not post recovery numbers due to a technical error.

Aug. 5 – The province reported 155 new cases of COVID-19 as well as two additional deaths. 

Aug. 4 – Quebec recorded 123 new COVID-19 cases and two additional deaths.

Aug. 3 – The province reported 123 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, as well as two new deaths.

Aug. 2 – The province announced 141 new cases and three deaths.

Aug. 1 – Health officials announced 146 new cases and four deaths. Quebec hasn’t reported recoveries for several days due to a technical issue.

July 31 – The province added 164 new cases and one death on Friday. Quebec hasn’t reported recoveries for several days due to a technical issue.

July 30 – Health officials reported 139 new cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

July 29 – Health officials reported 112 new cases of COVID-19 and no new recoveries or deaths. 

July 28 – The province added 169 new cases of COVID-19 and three new deaths on Tuesday. 

July 27 – Health officials announced 145 new cases of COVID-19 and 74 additional recoveries.

July 26 — Quebec reported 169 new cases of COVID-19 and one death on Sunday.

July 25 – The number of COVID-19 cases in Quebec rose by 171 Saturday, the highest single daily increase in seven weeks, with an additional three deaths.

July 24 – Health officials reported 163 new cases and 1 new death.

July 23 – Quebec reported an additional 142 cases, with 132 new recoveries. No new deaths were reported.

July 22 – Quebec confirmed another 142 cases and four deaths linked to COVID-19.

July 21 – The province reported 180 new COVID-19 cases, the highest amount since June. One new death and 108 additional recoveries. 

July 20 – The province added 150 new cases of COVID-19, 163 recoveries and two additional deaths. 

July 19 — Public health authorities reported Sunday that 166 people have tested positive for COVID-19 and one more person has died in the past 24 hours, the highest increase in cases since June 7.

July 18 — Health officials reported 158 new COVID-19 cases and seven new deaths on Saturday.

July 17 – Quebec announced 141 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday. The province added 23,686 recoveries as it changed after its system to determine who has recovered, reducing the overall number of active cases in Canada by more than 80 per cent.

July 16 – The province announced 142 new cases, 156 recoveries and 10 deaths.

July 15 – Quebec announced 129 new cases, marking the fourth day in a row with 100 or more new cases.

July 14 – Health officials reported 109 new cases of COVID-19, five more deaths and 114 recoveries.

July 13 – The province announced 100 new cases of COVID-19, one death and 49 additional recoveries. 

July 12 – The province announced 114 new cases, seven deaths and 89 recoveries. Of those seven deaths, four happened before July 4.

July 11 – Health officials announced 91 new cases, 98 recoveries and eight deaths.

July 10 – One hundred new cases, 59 recoveries and three deaths were announced.

July 9 – COVID-19 cases in Quebec rose 137, which is the highest number of new cases since June 25, when 142 were reported.

July 8 – The province reported 82 new cases of COVID-19, 13 deaths and 76 recoveries.

July 7 – Quebec added 60 new cases of COVID-19 as well as 13 new deaths and 80 new recoveries. 

July 6 – Quebec added 74 new cases of COVID-19, three new deaths and 32 additional recoveries. 

July 5 – The province added 79 new cases, 66 recoveries and eight deaths.

July 4 – The province added 102 new cases, 122 recoveries and six deaths.

July 3 – Quebec public health authorities announced Friday that 89 more people have tested positive for the virus and 19 more people have died. 

July 2 – The province added 69 new cases, 85 recoveries and 14 deaths.Six of the deaths happened before June 24.

July 1 – Quebec reported 66 new cases of COVID-19 as well 24 deaths and 151 recoveries.

June 30 – The province reported 68 new cases of COVID-19 and 18 new deaths. Health officials also announced 196 more recoveries.  

June 29 – The province of Quebec reported 311 new cases of COVID-19 since Thursday. The province also reported 37 new deaths.

June 25 – Health officials announced 142 new cases, seven deaths, 76 recoveries.

June 24 – Quebec records 53 new cases of COVID-19 and 17 deaths.

June 23 – Quebec announced 49 new cases of coronavirus, as well as seven new deaths. Today the province is up seven deaths from the zero that were reported on Monday. 

June 22 – The province reported 69 new cases, the lowest single-day increase in new cases since March 22.  214 recoveries were announced and no new deaths were reported.

June 21 – The province announced 92 new cases, nine deaths and 121 recoveries.

June 20 – The province announced 124 new cases, 33 deaths, and 229 recoveries. Of the deaths reported, 15 happened before June 12.
